Corivo and Littlebird AI get compared because they share an input shape — both watch the active window on your desktop so they don't have to be briefed every time you ask something. The shape underneath is different. Littlebird AI is a chat assistant. Corivo is an agent. That difference shows up everywhere once you look closely.

TL;DR

  • Littlebird AI is a screen-watching desktop assistant whose defining surface is grounded chat. You ask Littlebird AI questions; it answers using what it has seen on your screen. Memory is held in encrypted cloud storage on AWS.
  • Corivo is a Mac-native agent. The defining surface isn't chat — it's a local corivo-agent that executes commands. "Draft my weekly," "reply to Marc," "prep me for the 3PM," "summarize this morning's Slack." Storage is local-first; the agent and your context both run on your machine.

If you want a polished chat assistant grounded in your work, Littlebird AI is a solid pick. If you want an agent that does the work — and you want it to run locally, on your Mac, alongside whatever AI tools you already use — Corivo is what we built.

What Littlebird AI does today

Littlebird AI watches the active window on your desktop (text and UI elements, not video) and feeds that context into a chat product:

  • Full-Context Chat. Ask Littlebird AI questions and have it draft documents grounded in your work, without manually catching it up.
  • Hummingbird. A floating overlay that lets you query Littlebird AI from inside any other app.
  • Encrypted cloud storage on AWS. Littlebird AI states they don't train models on your data and don't sell it.

The product is fundamentally shaped around the chat surface. You go to Littlebird AI (or pull up Hummingbird) and ask. Littlebird AI answers.

What Corivo does

Corivo is built around three pieces, all shipped today on macOS:

  • Native screen context. Corivo reads your active screen via macOS accessibility APIs, with no screenshots or pixel capture. Frames are stored locally in SQLite and searchable via hybrid (FTS + vector) recall.
  • First-party integrations, live now. Notion, Slack, Gmail, Google Calendar, GitHub, Linear, Google Docs, Sentry, Intercom, Mem, Feishu, and more — connected via one-click OAuth from the Settings app. The agent reads your tools alongside the screen layer.
  • An agent that executes. The core surface isn't a chat box — it's corivo-agent, a local sidecar that takes a command, plans, and acts: drafts replies, opens the right doc, summarizes a recent decision, chains multi-step actions across your tools.

Corivo also ships Quick Ask — a hotkey-triggered, always-on-top, transparent overlay window that's visible on every workspace. You hand the agent a task from anywhere on your Mac without breaking flow. Think of it as a way into the agent, not the product itself.

Everything is local-first. Your screen captures, your connected-tool data, and your conversations live in $APPDATA/corivo.sqlite on your Mac. Nothing is used to train models.

Where each one wins

Littlebird AI wins when…

  • You want a polished chat assistant as your primary AI surface and you're comfortable having it be the center of your workflow.
  • You're fine with cloud-stored memory and want the answers grounded in what Littlebird AI has seen on your screen.

Corivo wins when…

  • You want an agent, not a chatbot. The thing you keep wanting is "do the work," not "answer about my work."
  • You want your screen-derived context to stay on your Mac, full stop — not encrypted-in-the-cloud, on your machine.
  • You want one-click OAuth connectors (Notion, Slack, Gmail, Google Calendar, GitHub, Linear, Google Docs, Sentry, Intercom, Mem, Feishu, and more) that your agent uses alongside the live screen layer, today.
  • You want to keep using ChatGPT / Claude / Cursor for what each is best at, and have a neutral agent underneath them — not move your work into a single assistant.
  • You're on macOS and care about deep native plumbing (accessibility APIs, native overlay windows, global hotkeys) over cross-platform breadth.
